Our Beautiful Surprise A Little Bit Of Me - Our Beautiful Surprise

A Little Bit Of Me

A Little Bit Of Me

A Little Bit Of Me

Our story will take me a while to tell, but I’ll start with how and why I’m starting this blog.

A couple years ago, while in the depths of infertility, and begging for a second child, I started an Instagram account. I started it on a whim, chose to remain anonymous at first, and was just seeking out support and others who could understand me. I didn’t know what it would become, and how attached I would become to meeting others.

I recently changed my account name from wheneverybodymatters to @ourbeautifulsurprise on Instagram, and with that, I wanted to start a new blog. I have a website for the original blog, which was more generic and focused on generalized support, but I wanted to create a space to talk about my story, my background, day to day life, and offer a space for others to do the same. I also wanted to offer specific support for infertility warriors, especially to those going through surrogacy as an intended parent, because I know I sought that out when I was going through it myself. If you are considering surrogacy, starting the process, or just need support throughout, please check out my Surrogacy Support section, as I would love to connect personally with you!

Throughout 2020, my passion project was also writing my first book, “How to Help Friends & Family Through Infertility”. This book aims to help those who want to support their friends and family going through infertility, but don’t know how. It helps people understand what to say, what to do, and more details about infertility overall, so they feel better equipped to offer support. There are a lot of books out there to support people through their fertility journeys, but it can be very difficult to know how to offer support, and I aim to close that gap with this! I am also speaking with a fellow warrior about a future book, so stay tuned! Writing is very therapeutic for me, and I am continually looking for more opportunities to do so.

That’s just a bit of me for now, but I can’t wait to share more, and connect with you as well!
