As I sit here writing this I cannot begin to tell you how bored I am with the process of installing these baseboards. Sure, ripping the old ones out was fun. The occasional use of the nailer, even more fun. But overall this is about as much fun as watching paint dry. To be honest, I think even that is more interesting than this project. I’m known to paint a room or two, nevermind the mess I might leave behind, point is, I’m usually an active participant in our projects. But not this one. This one, for now, is a one man show, and that man is not me.
Welcome to the Kevin Show!
Along with installing the baseboards, there’s also some wall repairs which need to be done.
After skim coating the walls, Kevin sanded them.
And here is our progress thus far. Both the pantry and sunroom door are framed, and the baseboards are almost installed.
